Colton High School is a public high school in Colton, California, United States. It is located just north of Interstate 10 at Rancho Avenue. The school currently enrolls 3314 students, which is more than its normal capacity. Colton High School opened in 1896 as the first High School of the Colton Joint Unified School District. It is one of four High Schools in the district, although a new school, Grand Terrace High School, is currently under construction.

The school draws students from the city of Colton, as well as Grand Terrace and a small section of San Bernardino. The school is identified as a national AVID demonstration school, and was named a 2011 AP District of the Year in the midsize category by the College Board.

Academics

In 2009, 515 of the school's seniors received their high school diploma.[5]

Sports

In the fall football season of 2010 the Colton Yellowjakcet football team won CIF Champions, the first time since 1979.
