Colin Cheney (born 1978 Boston, Massachusetts) is an American poet.
He graduated from Brown University, with a BA in Environmental Studies in 2001. He is studying for an MFA at New York University, where he teaches in the Expository Writing Program.[1]
His work has appeared in many publications including FAmerican Poetry Review, Crazyhorse, Gulf Coast, Hayden's Ferry Review, Kenyon Review, Massachusetts Review, Notre Dame Review, Ploughshares, Poetry Magazine, Shenandoah, Waccamaw Journal, West Branch. He lives in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, New York. [2][3] He is currently working at Shrewsbury International School, teaching The Reading The World course. This is a creative writing course for sixth form students.
