Coleophora protecta is a moth of the Coleophoridae family. It is found in Lebanon, Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia.^[1]

The larvae feed on Tragacantha armata and Tragacantha karakalensis. They feed on the leaves of their host plant.^[2]
