Coleophora sylvaticella is a moth of the Coleophoridae family. It is found from Norway and Sweden to France, Italy and Romania and from Ireland to Poland and Slovakia.
The wingspan is 11-12 mm. Adults are on wing in May and June.[2]
The larvae feed on the seeds of Luzula sylvatica. They form a case. Larvae overwinter twice.[3]
