Binomial name Zanclognatha n. sp. The Coastal Plain Zanclognatha (no binomial name yet, since it has not been formally described) is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found from Ontario to Nova Scotia, south through New Jersey and in the mountains to Georgia.
There is one generation per year.
The larvae probably feed on lichens, algae and other detritus on Atlantic white cedar, pitch pine and other conifers.
