Citec is a Finnish corporation providing multi-discipline engineering and consulting services for the power, civil, rail vehicles and process industries.[2] Citec also offers a wide range of services and solutions related to information lifecycle management. Founded in 1984, Citec consists of two companies, Citec Engineering and Citec Information. Both are fully owned by the parent company Citec Group. As of 2010 Citec has about 1000 employees and the turnover was approximately 55 million euro.[1] The company is headquartered in Vaasa, Finland, and has several offices in Finland, Sweden, India, France, Russia and the UK. In 2011 Sentica Partners acquired a majority stake in Citec.[3][4]
