Churchill High School is a secondary school in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Recent history
The Churchill Bulldogs football team won the WHSFL's Anavet Cup in October 2008. The Churchill Bulldogs hockey team won the WHSHL championship in 2010.
In 2009, Churchill High School was named a UNESCO school.[1]
An incident at Churchill High School received international media attention in February 2010. During a Spirit Week event at the school, two teachers performed a suggestive dance. The dance was recorded by several students, and the video was posted on social networking and video sharing sites. When the media brought the video to the general public's attention, intense reaction cast administration, teachers and students into the national spotlight over the issues of appropriate conduct of educators and the use of video recording devices in schools.[2]
