Chris Jenkins Born Christopher Jenkins

He is well known for co-writing and producing the computer-animated comedy Surf's Up. Jenkins currently serves as creative producer of animation at Blue Sky Studios.
Background and career
Christopher Jenkins was born and raised in the Rhondda Valley in South Wales. He attended the Ton Pentre Junior School and later went to the Upper Rhondda Comprehensive School. He has a degree in scientific illustration from Middlesex University in England.
Jenkins started his career as a commercial artist at Duck Soup Studios 1990 to 1995. He spent most of his professional life at Walt Disney Pictures where he served as artistic coordinator on Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Before that, Jenkins was visual effects supervisor on The Hunchback of Notre Dame. He also was an effects animator on Hercules, The Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit? for Touchstone Pictures.
Jenkins left Disney to work at Sony Pictures Imageworks, where he conceived the idea for Surf's Up. Jenkins had been attached to direct Hotel Transylvania before leaving the company
Jenkins is currently at Blue Sky Studios in Greenwich, Connecticut.
