Chris Hayes (ice hockey)

Christopher Joseph Hayes (born August 24, 1946 in Rouyn, Quebec) was a professional ice hockey player who played left wing shooting left.

Hayes spent three years playing junior hockey for Oshawa 1965-68. He left hockey for two years, but returned in the 1970-71 season to play for Loyola College in Montreal. He then turned pro playing in four pro leagues for five different teams in four year span.[1] The highlight for Chris Hayes came during the 1971-72 season while playing for Oklahoma City Blazers(AHL). Hayes was called due to injuries to play for the Boston Bruins. He played one game in the 1972 Stanley Cup Finals, and though he never played in the NHL again, is regarded by the NHL as a Stanley Cup champion.[2]
