Chris Ahrens (born July 31, 1952 in San Bernardino, California and raised in Freeport, New York ) is a retired American professional ice hockey defenceman who played six seasons in the National Hockey League for the Minnesota North Stars.

Playing career

Ahrens was drafted in the fifth round, 76th overall in the 1972 NHL Entry Draft by the Minnesota North Stars. Chris played very briefly for the Edmonton Oilers in 1977–78, their last year in the WHA.
