Fenn's Wainscot (Protarchanara brevilinea), formerly known as Chortodes brevilinea is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It is found in Western and Northern Europe.
The length of the forewings is 14-17 mm. The moth flies in one generation from mid July to August. [1].
The larvae feed on Phragmites.
