Pentecostal revival movement in Chile

The Pentecostal revival movement in Chile began in the Methodist Episcopal church in 1902, in Valparaiso, under the pastorship of Rev.Willis C. Hoover K.[1]

Today, about 13% of the Chilean population identifies as Pentecostal.[2] The largest Pentecostal denominations represented in Chile are:[citation needed]

  • Iglesia Evangelica Pentecostal - Evangelical Pentecostal Church - 17 countries including the United States
  • Iglesia Metodista Pentecostal - Pentecostal Methodist Church - 4 countries
  • Iglesia Pentecostal de Chile - Pentecostal Church of Chile
  • Iglesia Unida Metodista Pentecostal - United Pentecostal Methodist Church - 7 countries
