Chase is an American police procedural drama television series about a U.S. Marshals fugitive-apprehension team based out of Houston, Texas. Jennifer Johnson created the show and received a put pilot commitment from NBC in September 2009.[1] It ran on NBC from September 20, 2010 to May 21, 2011.[2] Jerry Bruckheimer and Johnson are the executive producers.[3]
Chase revolves around Kelli Giddish's character U.S. Deputy Marshal Annie Frost. The other principal cast members, who all portray Marshals, are Cole Hauser as Jimmy Godfrey, Amaury Nolasco as Marco Martinez, Rose Rollins as Daisy Ogbaa, and Jesse Metcalfe as Luke Watson.[4] Siena Goines has a recurring role as Jimmy's girlfriend Natalie.
On October 19, 2010 NBC confirmed that it had ordered a full season of Chase.[5] The order was reduced on December 3, 2010 from 22 episodes to 18 episodes.[6] NBC removed Chase from its schedule on February 3, 2011.[7] The Canadian broadcast rights holder Citytv, who had been simulcasting the show, released their weekly schedule for February 7–13 on February 3 and Chase was not scheduled.[8] On April 6, 2011 NBC announced that the remaining five episodes would be shown on Saturdays beginning April 23.[9]
In the UK Chase is being re-titled as "Jerry Bruckheimer's Chase"[10] and, as of July 2010, was expected to debut on Living TV in 2011.[11]
