Chascanopsetta is a genus of flatfish in the family Bothidae (lefteye flounders) found in the Pacific Ocean, the Indian Ocean and to some extent the Atlantic Ocean. It contains eight member species.[1]

Description

Members of this genus have an elongate body and a relatively large mouth. They lack rostral, orbital, or mandibular spines.[1]
