Meritorious Service MedalChaplain (Brigadier General) Charles Ray Bailey, USA is an American Army officer who is currently serving as the 24th Deputy Chief of Chaplains of the United States Army.
From 2007 to 2011, Chaplain Bailey served as the United States Army Europe Command Chaplain.
In May of 2011, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates announced that Colonel Bailey had been nominated for promotion to Brigadier General and reassignment as the Deputy Chief of Chaplains.[1]
