Chaplain of the Coast Guard is a uniqueUnited States Coast Guard job position (CG-00A) which includes being part of theUnited States Navy Chaplain Corps . The Chaplain reports directly to theCommandant of the Coast Guard and is attached to the USCG Headquarters inWashington, D.C. The Chaplain is to advise Commanders to ensure the exercise of
religion , provide religious ministry, give support to authorized personnel, advocate for and promote the well-being of all USCG personnel; serve as commandliaison to civilian religious leaders, communities, organizations and agencies.The current Chaplain of the Coast Guard is Captain William F.
