Chantal, Princess of Hanover (German: Chantal Prinzessin von Hannover, née Hochuli; born 2 June 1955), is heiress to a Swiss chocolate fortune. She is the former wife of Ernst August V, Prince of Hanover.^[1]

Biography

Chantal was born in Zürich, Switzerland. She is the daughter of Johann Gustav Hochuli and Rosmarie Lembeck.^{[citation needed]}

Chantal and Prince Ernst August were married on 28 August 1981 and divorced on 23 October 1997. Together they have two children:

• HRH Prince Ernst August of Hanover, born 19 July 1983 (1983-07-19) (age 28)
• HRH Prince Christian of Hanover, born 1 June 1985 (1985-06-01) (age 26)
