Sites

Chandral is one of the more scenic villages surrounding Mirpur and, due to the raising of the Mangla Dam, will be almost surrounded by water within the next few years. This will further enhance the beauty of the village. Major attractions include "the Bani", a small lagoon west of the village. Chandral boasts a number of highly decorated multi-story houses which have been made as holiday homes by Chandralis living abroad. These houses are common of the Mirpur area but are most beautiful in Chandral.
