Documentary on the lives of seven untouchable kids who live in inhuman conditions at Manikarnika Ghat in Varanasi is one of the most powerful and harrowing experiences of life . It is a stunning documentary, following the lives of seven untouchable kids who live in inhuman conditions, facing the fires at Manikarnika Ghat, tossing back body parts into the pyres, stealing the colourful shrouds that they re-sell to merchants in Varanasi and facing abuse from adults. Jala’s film is a very honest and brave effort. It’s a vision of hell on earth. The film’s international sales rights have been acquired by Fortissimo.
