Nathan Oystrick (born December 17, 1982 in Regina, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who is currently playing with the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Playing career

Oystrick was drafted 198th overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft by the Atlanta Thrashers. On March 1, 2010, Oystrick, along with a conditional pick, was traded by the Thrashers to the Anaheim Ducks for forward Evgeny Artyukhin.^[1] Oystrick played in 3 games with the Ducks to end the 2009–10 season before he was bought out from the remainder of his contract by Anaheim on June 30, 2010.^[2]

On July 11, 2010, as a free agent Oystrick then signed a one-year contract with the St. Louis Blues.^[3]

He began the 2010–11 NHL season with the Blues' AHL affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen; but on November 3, 2010 the Blues' recalled Oystrick from Peoria.^[4]

Oystrick signed a one-year contract with the Phoenix Coyotes on July 6, 2011.^[5]
