Hernán Ergueta (born on June 5 1974 in La Paz Bolivia) is a Bolivian musician and composer.

From a young age he participated in several musical groups such as the Banda Tradicional Tacana, one of the most popular bands of the Beni Department in Bolivia.

In 2006, he participated in the Bolivian tour of David Schwartz and was a member of the classical group "Atajo" [cite web|url=http://www.classicafm.com/mosh/atajo.htm |title=Atajo|publisher=Classicafm.com|accessdate=October 9|accessyear=2008] which would go on to tour Europe, such as Germany in Cologne, and in the World-wide Festival of Tilburg where he performed with musicians such as Khaled, Eva Ayllón among others. He then toured other cities in Germany and went on to Austria, Luxembourg, Sweden and the Netherlands.

In Bolivia, he has been responsible for reviving Arabic music in the country, consolidating this fusion with the musical group Madre Tul.
