The Maltese Third Division 2008-09 (known as BOV 3rd Division 2008-09 due to sponsorship reasons) started on 26 September 2008 and is scheduled to end on 10 May 2009.The Division is divided in 2 sections:Section A and Section B.There are 10 teams in Section A and 9 teams in Section B.The winners of each Section play each other to determine the Champion.Both teams will be promoted to the |Second Division.The 2nd and 3rd placed teams of each Section will play in a pomotion "knock-out fashion" playoffs with the 10th placed team from Maltese Second Division 2008-09.These are the teams that form Section A:
