Hiccups (TV Series)

Hiccups is a new Canadian television series, whose rights have just been sold to CTV and The Comedy Network. A television show created by Corner Gas's own Brent Butt. The new series is going to begin production in late October 2008. The series' star is none other than Corner Gas's Nancy Robertson, who plays the role of Millie Upton, a children's author with anger management issues. These, which are called "hiccups", are giant outbursts, which could be described as a giant fit of depression. These outbursts are immediate, so they are prone to happen at any time. After being told that she needs some help controlling her anger issues, Millie finds a man named Stan Dirko, whom she hires as her life coach. This brand new series will be produced by Laura Lightbown and another man famous because of Corner Gas, David Storey. Brent Butt is the creator, writer, show runner and executive producer of the new series.
