"Fairfield Plantation is a private residential community located in Villa Rica, Georgia. It is located on the foothills of the "Applachian Mountains". There are over 1,200 homes on 2,400 acres of land in the community. There are three lakes in the community. Lake Tara has a beach located on it as well as a "Dockside Marina" which has a swimming pool, volleyball court, and a putt-putt course. Lake Ashley and Lake Scarlett are the other two lakes in Fairfield Plantation. This is also a golf course located on the property. This golf course is open to the members of Fairfield Plantation and also any non residents. A "Country Club" is located besides the golf course. There is a resturaunt inside the "Country Club". The "Property Owner's Association" manages Fairfield Plantation"'.

History

Fairfield Plantation was first a recreational and residential community in 1970, named "Treasure Lake". Fairfield Coummunities bought "Treasure Lake" in 1978 and renamed the coummunity Fairfield Plantation.
