Sadaat Baba is one of the renouned villages of Lund Khwar.It is known as Sadaat Baba because of the shrine of a saint in this village.It is located on the East of Lund khwar and marks the boundry of Lund Khwar.HISTORY:The village was founded by two brothers,”Ahmad Khan” and” Rehmat Khan” who were Badrashi.After Badrashi then came the Miangan of the village.So there are now two tribes prominent in Sadaat Baba i.e. Badrashi and Miangan.Some relics of ancient times can be found in the outskirts of the village in the East.These relics are believed to belong to the age of Buddha.

Tribes:

Besides Badrashi and Miangan there are some other people like “Baghwanan” and Kulalan.Some people from outside had also settled in the outskirts of the village.

SHRINE:

The shrine of Sadaat Baba is the prominent part and is located in the middle of the village. There are a lot of stories being told about this saint.Some people say that thieves cannot enter their village because of the shrine of this saint.Some say that the peace in their village is because of this shrine."'

Localities

:The main villageis divided into Badrakho cham and Miagano cham.Now the village is growing in population and extension in the East known as Derai is also being occupied by people from outside."'

Frontiers

On the West it ends upon the canal.And on the East it ends upon the Laiq Ustad House.On the East is Shamshi and Kotki Villages ,on the North is Shahi Abad Village,on the South is Salak and Ghondai villages and on the West North is Dara Village.

Mir Ghawas Khan known as Toor Khan was one of the most prominent figures in the history of Sadaat Baba.He was the grandson of “Ahmad Khan” the founder of the village.He served in the English Army and fought in the second world war and won a lot of Honours and Medals.

[Saifoor Khan ] , the son of Toor Khan is one of the leading personality of the area.He is the famous social worker and politician of the area. And is taking active part in solving many problems of the village e.g electricity,P.C.O,primary school and telephone facilities all came to the village because of his efforts.Dr.Ayaz Ahmad Khan is the only doctor of the village.He is currently pursuing his fellowship in Canada. He remained the most active and prominent figure of the village.And had solved many youth related problems.For his help to his fellow youth and other social activites he is very popular among the youth of the village.Advocate Aftab Ahmad Khan is the only lawyer of the village and is currently leading the youth of the village.He is helping the youth in their studies and academic career and other extra curricular activities as well.
