Simon Hunt is an English rugby-union player. Hunt currently plays wing for English National Division 2 side Birmingham and Solihull RFC. He has both Guinness Premiership and Magners League experience with London Irish and Newport Gwent Dragons respectively. Hunt left London Irish in 2002 to join French side RC Narbonne in the Top 14 and then moved to another Top 14 club USA Perpignan. During his time in France Hunt also made several appearances in the Heineken Cup. Hunt returned to England in 2004 and whilst training with Welsh side Ebbw Vale he spent time at both Sale Sharks and Bristol Shoguns although failed to make an appearance in the Guinness Premiership with either side. In 2005 Hunt had a brief spell with Birmingham and Solihull in National League One before returning to Ebbw Vale. It was during this spell at Ebbw Vale Hunt broke into the regional Newport Gwent Dragons squad and made an appearance against Edinburgh in the Magners League. At the start of the 2008/09 season Hunt began his second spell at Birmingham and Solihull, this time in National Division Two. Hunt has also been a regular in the England Sevens squad since making his debut in 2001.
