The Dirty Dozen (Demonata)

"The Dirty Dozen" are a fictional group of humans consisting of soldiers, mages and a computer expert. The group is formed during the eighth book, "Wolf Island", and is lead by Disciple and soldier Shark.

Survivers

The leader of the Dirty Dozen, previously seen in "Demon Thief" and "Demon Apocalypse", and as a hallucination in "Slawter". He constantly has worn a military uniform and has the word SHARK written on his knuckles, with one letter on every finger. He is also a Disciple.

All of the soldiers give him a lot of respect and he has proved to be a worthy fighter, killing two werewolves on his own with his bare hands.

It is revealed that he killed Timas Brauss' father whilst he was opening a window to the Demonata universe, he was too late to save his sister; Shark felt guilty and helped make Timas the most talented in his field (computers).

Grubbs Grady

Grubbs is one of three of the dirty dozen who is also a disciple. He is one third human, one third Kah-Gash and one third lycan. He has the ability to change his form from human to lycan, and unlike the other cursed humans, he still has the ability to think and communicate like a human. He is the nephew of Dervish Grady, brother of Bill-E Spleen and a decendent of Bec McConn.

Meera Flame

Meera is a close friend of Dervish Grady and Grubbs Grady admits having a crush on her. She constantly pops into Dervish's home in Carcery Vale. Dervish reveals that she is one of few to have survived an encounter with a demon master. She is chosen to accompany Grubbs on his mission to Wolf Island

Timas Brauss

The best in his field at computers. Shark helped his carrer after being left feeling guilty: Shark killed his dad when he was trying to open a window into the demonata universe. Timas helps to find Prae Athim, and subsequently wolf island, navigate around the island and much more. There is no denying that the Dirty Dozen would have completely perished if not for Timas' expert knowlage.
