Robert Hughes (Australian actor)

Robert Hughes (born August 19, 1948 in Sydney, Australia) is an Australian actor whose most famous roles include "" and the TV sitcom "Hey Dad...!"

Hughes has worked extensively in Australian theatre, film and television and as a Sydney Theatre Company company artist from 1981. Theatre roles included "The War Horse" and "Great Big Adventure Book for Boys". Television roles have included: "Chopper Squad", "Cop Shop", "The Sullivans", "Skyways", "Tickled Pink", "The Paul Hogan Show", "Dick Emery in Australia", "Daily at Dawn", "The Timeless Land", "Kingswood Country", "A Country Practice", "Learned Friends", "Prisoner", "The New Adventures of Blinky Bill".

Film roles have included: "Cathy's Child", "Fatty Finn", "Squizzy Taylor".He is not the famous Australian art critic and writer by the same name.
