Danielle "Dani" Kahle (born April 9, 1989 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa) is an American figure skater.

In 2002, Danielle Kahle was the United States National Champion at the novice level.

Kahle is coached by Frank Carroll and Cindy Bortz-Gould. She trains in El Segundo, California and Simi Valley, California.

Career

After winning the national title at the novice level in 2002, Kahle placed 3rd at the junior level at the 2003 U.S. Figure Skating Championships. Since beginning senior level competition in 2004, Kahle has made six U.S. Championships appearances, her most recent being in 2011.

On the world stage, Kahle has earned a top-three spot in four ISU Junior Grand Prix competitions, including 1st place at the 2003–2004 ISU JGP Croatia Cup. At the 2006 Karl Schäfer Memorial senior-level competition, Kahle placed 2nd.

Regional accomplishments include four senior-level 1st places; Kahle is a two-time (2006, 2007) Pacific Coast Senior Ladies Sectional Champion and two-time (2006, 2011) Southwest Pacific Senior Ladies Regional Champion.

Personal life

In 2004, Kahle made skating sequences for the Disney feature film, Ice Princess, and was one of four skaters featured on the 2006 TLC show, Ice Diaries.

As of 2011, Kahle is attending Cal State Northridge. Besides focusing on her career and college, she is also a coach.[1] Her dream is to make the U.S. Olympic team.[2]
