Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation

The Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation (HKECIC) provides insurance protection to Hong Kong exporters. It is wholly owned by the Hong Kong Government, which also guarantees its contingent liability, currently HK$15 billion.

The body was established in 1966 under the Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation Ordinance.
