County Route 28A consisted of Disbrow Hill Road where it ran on the Monmouth-Middlesex County line, beginning at the boundary of East Windsor Township, Mercer County, and extending east 1.40 miles (2.25 km.).
History
County Route 28A was taken over by the Boards of Chosen Freeholders of Monmouth and Middlesex Counties, meeting jointly on July 20, 1911. [Joint Resolution, Monmouth and Middlesex County Boards of Chosen Freeholders, July 20, 1911] In the 1937 renumbering of Monmouth County highways, it was designated as part of County Route 28; by 1939 it had been suffixed as 28A.
