"Absolutely Not" is the title of a song by the Canadian R&B / dance music singer Deborah Cox. The song first appeared on the soundtrack to the 2001 Eddie Murphy film "Dr. Dolittle 2"; a remix dubbed the "Chanel Mix" is included on Cox's 2002 studio album "The Morning After".

Released as a single in mid-2001, "Absolutely Not" was most successful on the "Billboard" Hot Dance Club Play chart, where remixes by DJ Hex Hector spent two weeks at #1 in September of that year. [Whitburn, Joel (2004). "Hot Dance/Disco 1974-2003", (Record Research Inc.)] It remained on the survey for 12 weeks. The song was nominated for a Juno Award in the category Best Dance Recording in 2002.

The song has been featured on various compilation albums, including the Second Season soundtrack to the North American version of "Queer As Folk".
