state highway in the U.S. state ofUtah . The route serves as an east-west connector in the city of Layton in Davis County.Route description
The route starts at the intersection of SR-126 (Main Street) and Gentile Street in the historic section of Layton, close to the historic
Utah Central Rail Road and the current-dayUnion Pacific railroad, as well as the Layton Frontrunner station. From here, the route travels east along Gentile Street, almost immediately crossingInterstate 15 via anoverpass , after which it passes by the Layton city offices andLayton High School . From this point onwards, the route primarily passes by residential subdivisions, crossing Fort Lane and Fairfield Road, the two primary north-south roads in the area. Shortly after Fairfield, the route splits off from Gentile Street, becoming Oakhills Drive as it continues east-northeast, climbing into the foothills of theWasatch Mountains , where it ends at the intersection with US-89.cite web | title=Google Maps | publisher=Google | url=http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=UT-109,+Layton,+Davis,+Utah,+United+States&sll=40.75584,-111.868973&sspn=113.439383,333.28125&ie=UTF8&cd=1&geocode=FTWHcgIdyg1T-Q&ll=41.061621,-111.931028&spn=0.030546,0.081367&z=14 ]Major intersections
