Parya is largely spoken in the border regions between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, specifically in the towns of
Hisor , Shehr-e-nau, Regar/Tursunzoda and Surchi, located in theGissar Valley of Tajikistan and the Surkhandarya basin of Uzbekistan.
