Ho Ru Yu Ruth would have broken the 400m Freestyle relay record if not for their disqualification at the 2007 South East Asian Games
*In 2007, Tay Zhirong Bryan and Lim Shu En Lynette both broke national records that were more than 20 years old. Tay broke the 25 year old 100 Free national record originally set by Ang Peng Siong while Lim broke the 24 year old 800 Free national record originally set by Junie Sng
*10 of the 20 Women National Records are also National Under 17 records
*12 different men hold the individual national records, while on the women side, only 4 different swimmers hold the various individual records
* Teo Wei Min Nicolette broke the 100m Breaststroke record 4 times in a span of 12 months, from December 2006 to December 2007
*Ang Peng Siong saw 2 of his 3 remaining national records broken on the same day, on 9 December 2007, where the 100m Freestyle and 100m Butterfly records were broken by Tay Zhirong Bryan and Tan Xue Wei Nicholas respectively
