The Tracker is tiny and
clip -shaped, about the size of a humanthumb . It records data throughout the day through amotion sensor much like the technology used for theWii Remote . It then transmits the data through awireless connection to software on the user's computer which allows them to view their data through the Fitbit website. The Fitbit Tracker is $99 (USD ) and the use of the website will be free, with a premium subscription option. Though pre-ordering is an option, device itself is not yet available, and is expected to be ready for shipping in late December 2008 or early January 2009.References
