website = [http://www.cithsl.amt.qc.ca/ AMT site (Fr)] The CIT du Haut-Saint-Laurent ("Conseil Intermunicipal de Transport du Haut-Saint-Laurent") provides a bus service, operated under the auspices of Le Haut-Saint-Laurent Regional County Municipality, in southwesternQuebec ,Canada . The CITHSL serves the communities, within the region, of Godmanchester, Howick, Huntingdon, Ormstown, Très-Saint-Sacrement and also Sainte-Martine, in the adjoining Region of Beauharnois-Salaberry, and Mercier in Roussillon Region.The bus service operates seven days a week, with reduced frequency on weekends. The route starts at Huntingdon and runs along Highway 138 to
Montreal ; either terminating at Angrignon station on theMontreal Metro or continuing to downtown near the Terminus Centre-Ville bus station. Originally, it was to be relocated nearby onboulevard René-Lévesque [ [http://www.amt.qc.ca/comm/affiche_avisaux.asp?no=655 AMT Notice: Moving some CIT routes on to streets] ] along with CITSO, but were later moved to rue St-Antoine and Mansfield. Along its route the bus also stops inChâteauguay andKahnawake , immediately south of theSt. Lawrence River , but does not provide service between Montreal and those communities, which have their own bus service provided by theCIT du Sud-Ouest .References
