Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki, better known by its acronym, KSW, is widely considered the premiere MMA organization in Poland [http://www.sherdog.com/news/articles/Euro-Light-Heavyweight-Showdown-Ends-in-Draw-14388] . To date, all but one of its events have been hosted in Warsaw, Poland. The promotion is famed for its four and eight-man tournaments, which take place over the period of one night [http://sherdog.com/news/articles/the-polish-pride-14371] . Many fighters have been successful in KSW and effectively signed by a more "prestigious" North American promotion, such as YAMMA, UFC, and EliteXC. KSW takes great pride in its personal fight team, the KSW Team, which consists of some of the promotion's elite fighters, such as Mamed Khalidov and Krzysztof Kulak. KSW runs the majority of its shows live on a variety of TV networks throughout Europe.
