County Route 46 is a county highway located in Monmouth County, New Jersey, known as Dutch Lane Road.

Route description

County Route 46 begins at Broadway (New Jersey Route 79) in the Borough of Freehold and extends northeast through Freehold Township, where it intersects County Route 55. It continues through Freehold and Marlboro Townships to Colts Neck Township, where CR 46 terminates at County Route 4. History

County Route 46 was taken over as a county highway on October 23, 1940. [Resolution, Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders, October 23, 1940] Construction in 1973 of an overpass over New Jersey Route 18 necessitated the rerouting of a short section of CR 46, leaving the old route as a cul-de-sac.
