Gordon Central High School

Gordon Central High School is a grades 9-12 public high school in Calhoun, Georgia. Gordon Central is located in Gordon County. Gordon Central is a small school of about 1000 students with about 100 teachers employed.

Athletics

• Gordon Central competes with other AA schools in football, baseball, basketball, tennis, track and field, Academic Bowl, cheerleading, literary, golf, wrestling, soccer, one act, softball, cross country, and many more.

• Gordon Central has one of the most outstanding Fine Arts programs in Gordon County.
• The Marching Band (The Blue Wave) is remembered for its outstanding performance at the Trion High School Marching Contest. The Blue Wave won the title of Grand Champion in the 05-06 school year.
• The Chorus Department is known for their exceptional singing capabilities which wins them many awards every year.
