Nicolai Niels Nielsen (1777–1854) was a Norwegian priest and politician.
He was born in Funen, Denmark. He took his priest examination in Copenhagen in 1804, and worked as a teacher in Zealand. In 1807 he immigrated to Norway, becoming priest in Vardøe. In 1810 he moved to Holmedal in Sunnfjord.[1] He was a member of the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly in 1814.[2]
He was appointed priest in Eid in 1821, and dean in Borgund from 1835.[1] While stationed in Eid, he was elected to the Norwegian Parliament in 1830, representing the constituency of Nordre Bergenhus Amt.[2] His primary interest was education policy.[1]
