It is in the municipality of Konitsa. Its 2001 population was 67 for the village. The GR-20 (Ioannina - Konitsa - Kozani), the old road is approximately 5 km west. The village was known as Messaria (Μεσσαριά) and is rarely known today. The village is unhabited during the winter months. The population during the summer rises. It has a spring at the entrance of the village.

The village is not known when it was found. It is believed it is around 3,000 years old as the vial may be found which brought the light of archaeological spade and made cinders. From the same sources thinks the first inhabitants were the Molossians. Other made word that the village was settled later, during the Byzantine times and the 17th century. For the namesake, these acceptances that the name probably derived from Molossia of from Albania and Slavic origins. Molista was ruled by the Ottoman Turks until the Balkan Wars and annexed in 1913. After World War II and the Greek Civil War, its buildings were rebuilt. Once a village of around 200 to 300, its population loss begun when emigration occurred at a higher rate until 1981 through to 1991, the population has been declining slowly but lost a couple more between 1991 and 2001. Agrambela became connected with asphalt in the 1960smid to late 20th century. More pavement was available in recent years. Electricity, radio and automobiles were introduced in the mid-20th century, television in the late-20th century and computer and Internet at the turn of the millennium. In the late-1990s, the ex-community (now a municipal district) joined to become the newly formed municipality of Konitsa.
