Iraq-Singapore relations

Iraq–Singapore relations refers to the bilateral foreign relations between the two countries, Iraq and Singapore. Diplomatic relations between both countries were established on 27 December, 1977. [ [http://shinedom1.internet.gov.sg/mfa/dipCon/dipCon.nsf/FMDetailsAgent?OpenAgent&id=78] Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Singapore: Embassy of the Republic of Iraq ] Historically, Singapore and Iraq shared cordial relations in the early 1980's during Saddam Husseins rule, as Singapore supported Iraq in declaring war against Iran.

Singapore has an embassy of Iraq held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
