Erebus macrops is a species of moth of the family Noctuidae. It is found in the subtropical regions of Africa and Asia[1]. The wingspan is ca. 12 cm[1], making it exceptionally large for a Noctuidae species. The larvae feed on Acacia[2] and Entada species.
