Dilman is one of the oldest villages of Azerbaijan with a beautiful nature and nice people. The village sitatues close to the Shamakhy city (previous capital of Azerbajian during the Shirvanshah government). This village has faced many wars like a Ottoman and Russian wars in its history. But the etnic group of the village could save its tukish roots through a long-run challenges.
Culture of Dilman village is very rich with etnic azeri and turkish customs. Village has own cinema club, library, school, kinder garden, mosque. All the wedding ceremonies are being hold in a very special way of Azerbaijani culture.
Climate of Dilman is mysterous, due to the perfect location around the Caucassian mountains and forests, each season of this village has own beuaty. Spring - is a flower and stawberry season, Summer - is a tourism season with many people, Autumn - is a romantic and hunting season, Winter - is a real snowing new year season, you alo can enjoy of ski and snow-cycling here.
People of Dilman mostly work in Baku and in Shamakhy. In the land of this village, close to the river there is a beautiful resort area where tourists can come, stay and enjoy their time in this magic village. Here you have a large number of opportunities for relaxation, fishing, sweeming, horse riding, playing and even doing sports. Beside the resort, village also has few industrial plants for construction and wine producing.
