Erie and Central New York Railroad

The Erie and Central New York Railroad was first graded in 1870 and was abandoned and the bridges rotted. [cite news| url=http://query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=F10E15FF395E137A8EDDAC0994D9415B838CF1D3| title=Erie and Central New York Sold| work=New York Times| date=November 15, 1903| accessmonthday=September 18| accessyear=2008| ] The railroad ran from Cortland Junction to Cincinnatus, and an extension to Hancock or Deposit was planned. The trackage was abandoned by Erie Lackawanna in 1960 and was partially rebuilt for an industrial spur about 1999.
