I-610 Ship Channel Bridge
- I-610 Ship Channel Bridge
The I-610 Ship Channel Bridge spans the Houston Ship Channel and goes through the Port Of Houston Industrial Complex. An exit off this portion of I-610 is the main entrance to the Port Of Houston. Travelers heading north go on the bridge after SH 225 and travelers heading south go on it after the Clinton Drive Exit. Many drivers avoid this section of I-610 mainly because of how many trucks are on it headed toward the Port of Houston and how drilling and refinery are conducted near by, sending debris and rocks onto the road which causes cracks in windshileds in many cases.
