Queen Margaret University, Asia Campus is an off-shore campus of Scotland's Queen Margaret University in Singapore, and the first offshore campus by any British Institution in the Republic.

Location

The Campus is located at Ah Hood Road, Singapore.

Unlike many other Private Universities in Singapore which base their operations in the Central Business District, QMU Asia's facilities are similar to those found at Campus Universities in Britain. It has a tennis and three basketball courts, a gymnasium, a fully-equipped library and close to 60 classrooms. The University has currently leased the grounds for a 15-year period, estimated to cost S$38 million in rent in total. [cite news

History

QMU Singapore is a joint venture by Queen Margaret University and the East Asia Institute of Management(EASB) to provide Business and Management Courses in Singapore. QMU maintains direct control over the quality of the courses provided in its campus in Singapore, and will engage its own faculty to teach it's offshore courses. However, marketing and administration is provided by EASB. [cite news
