This is a short-stemmed onion, growing to heights of just a few centimeters from an oval-shapedbulb . It sprouts a single long, pointed onion leaf. Theinflorescence contains up to 20 dark-veined purple flowers each up to a centimeter long with dark purple anthers.External links
