The Metro de Málaga is a light metro network in Málaga, Spain, currently under construction. A total of six lines are planned.
Currently, only the two first lines are under construction. Line 1 will go from the city centre to the university; and line 2, from the city centre to the basketball stadium. Both lines has underground parts in city centre. Line 2 is scheduled to open in November, 11 2011, Line 1 soon after.[1]
